Well, what an utterly fabulous weekend we had at A Wedding For All Seasons. I have to confess we were quite overwhelmed at the effort everyone had gone to - not just those in the Design Quarter but also all the exhibitors in the house and marquees. Is it wrong to admit we shed a few tears throughout the weekend?

This event has felt like a long time coming... it's been on the drawing board for at least 18 months (if not more!) and has been a full nine months in the planning. No wonder someone referred to it as a Wedding Affair baby!
A Wedding For All Seasons was always designed as a different concept. The entire show was there to inspire brides and grooms by transporting them into a world of weddings they couldn't even have imagined. We knew exactly what we wanted, and the people who could make it happen alongside us, and my word, did we make it happen!
So where to start..... I suppose the utterly stunning and awe inspiring Design Quarter would be a good place! We cannot thank the following designers enough - Fiona from Firenza Floral Design for her truly beautiful (and so gorgeously scented) Spring, to Chrissie from Horticouture for her romantic and exquisite Summer, to Joanna from Twisted Willow for her utterly rich and decadent Autumn and to Mat from Red Floral Architecture for his luxurious and elegant Winter. You all took our vision and ran with it and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for that. We couldn't have done it without you.
Right now, I'm sure you just want me to stop blogging and start showing you exactly what I'm talking about.
