Sharing the love..... The Wedding Affair Fairy Godmothers!

Wedding planning is a really lovely job - we get to share the bride's excitement in the run up to the day and it gives us the opportunity to run a little wild with our ideas sometimes! Of course there are times when it can be very stressful or frustrating - we've been employed by brides who want us to get involved when things have gone wrong with a venue or supplier or because family arguments have escalated beyond control. But there's one thing that hasn't happened before now and that's being involved AFTER the wedding!

Lovely bride Rebecca was very upset after a mix up with her photographer meant that most of the pictures did not include one of her two gorgeous little boys and it wasn't realised until the photographs arrived after the wedding, when of course it was too late. Being the wedding fairy godmothers that we are, we couldn't resist the opportunity to sprinkle a little Wedding Affair magic and give Rebecca a rather special experience.

You may remember us telling you about our Rule Britannia photoshoot at Newburgh Priory a number of weeks ago. We had a fantastic day just having fun on the shoot but ultimately, there was another reason why the day felt so special. We arranged for Rebecca, Ben, Alfie and Henry to come along and have some new photographs taken by the fabulous Jim Poyner www.jimpoyner.co.uk. And whilst the venue and the outfits were different, and we didn't have all the family and friends there, it was still so heartwarming to be able to help Rebecca and Ben have pictures that they can treasure for years to come.

So here's a shout out to all the amazing people who helped us bring this to life for the Morrison family....

We think you'll agree that the photographs are fantastic and Rebecca looks stunning...... and yes, she definitely brought a tear to my eye when she came to say thank you and goodbye. Arranging this shoot reminded me of all that was good about our job, and also just how lucky we are to work with seriously talented people who don't think twice about taking time out of their day to spread the magic.

Enjoy your pictures Mr and Mrs Morrison x
