Hints And Ideas For Wedding Cinematography Today

It is a special time when a couple is married. This is not only for the bride and groom, but also the family and friends. Using Nashville wedding cinematography means you will have a reminder of your special day that can be shared with friends and family.

Discussing before the day with your videographer is the best way to ensure that the video is created as closely as possible to the way you would like. Your chosen videographer should be in a position to present plenty of ideas, possibly from previous weddings. Of course, you can also offer your own ideas, and they can usually be catered for.

For a traditional video, some brides like to have the videographer filming them getting ready with the bridesmaids. This can add a special touch for friends and family that would not have otherwise seen this part of the day. If you prefer, the videographer can begin at the venue of the ceremony so as to film the arrival of guests.

As well as this, the ceremony itself is something that some couples choose to keep exclusive to memory. If you prefer this as an option, the videographer can begin filming as the couple walks down the aisle after being married or perhaps leaving the building to the confetti and celebrations. There is likely to also be focus on small details during the reception like table decorations and seat covers as well as larger events like speeches and the first dance.

Instead of a traditional creation, you could have the videographer produce something more quirky. The ideas will depend on your preferences but it may include filming in kookier locations such as the beach or an icon of the city. This will, of course, depend upon your time limit and whether or not you can travel there in time.

There are also options for after the wedding. Many brides enjoy extending the video by wearing the dress in different places with the new husband. Nashville wedding cinematography can cater for plenty of ideas, whether you prefer a kooky style or a more traditional approach.

Choosing The Right Tea Party Supplies

People are often looking for different themes for a special occasion whether it is a baby shower, birthday or any other type of celebration. Given the rushed nature of a lot of modern lives it is nice to celebrate in a more relaxed and genteel fashion. If you are looking to celebrate in style then you may want to consider getting tea party supplies Toronto.

One of the crucial factors is the leaf based caffeinated beverage itself. There are a wide variety to choose from such as Assam, Earl Grey and so forth. When choosing the drinks themselves it is advisable to include at least one decaffeinated option for people who are sensitive to caffeine.

The best way to budget for a celebration is to have a checklist for everything you need. If you want to be authentic then it is best to go with the right crockery and cutlery rather than using disposable paper or plastic. If your budget is tight you may want to consider hiring cutlery and crockery rather than purchasing it. You ought to check with a supplier to see if this is possible and what their policy is regarding deposits and breakages.

As well as the drink there is also the food to consider. Cucumber sandwiches are the classic food to serve alongside your hot beverage as well as cake. You may go for a dish with small, dainty cakes to pick with your fingers. Alternatively you could choose Victoria sponge, fruit cake or fruit scones with strawberry jam and cream.

There are no specific rules and you can order pretty much whatever types of crockery, napkins or tablecloths that you want. However for the most authentic decoration it is better to go for proper cloth napkins and tablecloths rather than paper. If you are concerned about cost then look for patterned paper napkins and table coverings.

You can find a number of companies online where you can purchase tea party supplies Toronto. It is advisable to shop around to see who offers the best deals. Look online for company directories and customer feedback.

Sharing the love... Supplier Spotlight featuring The Greenhouse Florist

Today, I'm sharing the love for the fabulous Amy at The Greenhouse Florist. I always find it fascinating when the answers to our blog questions are returned... and Amy's answers were no different... so sit back and enjoy a little insight into the woman behind the bouquet!

So Amy, how did you end up in the wedding industry?
I love flowers, I love people and I love a bit of romance – so for me it’s the perfect choice.

Tell us something about you that most people wouldn’t know.
I was 11 and a half pounds when born – my poor mother!

Who, or what, inspires you?
Cesar Manrique. Because of his amazing sense of style, his incredible achievement’s and because he was a creative genius.

What is your greatest achievement?
Opening my first flower shop! It was so exciting when the customers started coming through the door gushing about it. I thought to myself – “I’ve done this! I’ve created this from nothing! Whoop! Whoop!” .

Ideal 5 dinner guests, past or present?
Bill Bailey (because he’s hilarious), George Harrison (because he was  a legend),  Nigella Lawson (who can bring dessert as well as her company),  Elton John  (so I could woo him into letting me be his personal  florist  and would be made for life! ) and my husband (because I wouldn’t want him to miss out on a good night!)

What’s your favourite quote?
Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions – Dalai Lama.

What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
Elle Decoration Magazine.  I love interior design. Flowers and plants play a massive part in making our surroundings beautiful.

What’s your favourite film?
Jean du Florette.  Closely followed by the follow up Manon du Source. If you haven’t see them you must seek them out!  They’re the kind of films that stay with you for years to come.

What can we expect to see from you in the coming months?
We have some lovely weddings coming up, encompassing some of the latest trends.

Whimsical brights have been very popular with our lovely Greenhouse brides! This Seasons floral trends have moved away from the muted vintage colours after the market has become saturated with them.  We’re seeing lots of Corals, Peaches, Plums, Yellows and even Oranges emerging into the wedding spotlight. It’s young, fresh and modern. I love a bit of colour!

We love weddings Wedding Heart

We love everything about them
We love the romance, the dresses,
the cake and having a cry at the end.
But the bit we love the most,
even more than the cake (no really!)
are the flowers...
We love the colour and smell,
the big blooms & the small,
the simple and the out there
Whatever you want...
...and if you don't know we can help with that too!

Give us a call and pop round for a cup of tea
& have a look through our nice books...

Wellie Wanging in the North Yorkshire Countryside..... A fabulous wedding from Joel Smith of Abraxo

Quite often we're asked by brides what makes a good wedding?

You'd think there would be so many options as answers, but in reality, there's just one - all you need is love. And when we saw the images from this gorgeous wedding, it was definitely the proof.

Adam and Jo were married at Helmsley, and in true style, made the wedding all about them as a couple, injecting fun and style into their day as only they could do.

Following a beautiful church ceremony, the couple and their guests headed out for some good old fashioned games including croquet, sack races and welly wanging.

After a delicious afternoon tea and cakes, the bride and groom headed out to the park to indulge in the park.

We'd like to thank Joel Smith of Abraxo for sharing these images with us, and of course Jo and Adam for having such a gorgeous wedding! www.abraxo.co.uk.
