If you haven't seen previous blogs about this gorgeous venue then where have you been? Scampston Hall is a truly beautiful venue, surrounded by gorgeous gardens and a fabulous boating lake. It inspired us to do our Alice in Wonderland themed photoshoot there and the result was amazing.

But Alice in Wonderland aside, we have something else to shout about. The Wedding Affair at Scampston Hall will be taking place on Sunday, 20th November, with 30 of some of the finest wedding suppliers in the area, all housed in a fabulous marquee, provided by Your Marquee
www.your-marquee.co.uk. There will be live entertainment, competitions and luxury gift bags, sponsored by Molton Brown of York
www.moltonbrown.co.uk (who doesn't want a relaxing free facial courtesy of them during a stressful planning and organising time?!)

Come up the sweeping driveway into the Hall and you can view the rooms that are available to you on your special day - these rooms may be grand but they also somehow manage to be intimate and informal - I believe this is due to Scampston Hall still being a family home, with photographs of the Legard family growing up, dotted around. You can't help but feel comfortable here - almost ready to kick off your shoes and relax on the sofa...

When you have finished taking in all there is to see in the Hall, step through the Alice in Wonderland windows (you will see what we mean when you get there!) and out onto a terrace, then down to the marquee. Beautifully decorated, we can guarantee that amongst these fabulous suppliers, you will find ideas and inspiration, and the people who can bring these to life for you.
